In today’s fast-paced world, which often leads us toward productivity, external validation, and unending distractions, finding our way back to ourselves is incredibly empowering. Real resilience lies not in merely pushing ahead but in establishing an inner sanctuary—a stable place of strength and safety that remains constant despite the chaos surrounding us.

This is the concept we delve into in “Coming Home to Yourself,” a meditation led by Georgina Miranda. This session encourages you to pause, reflect, and reconnect with your inner power. Georgina emphasizes that mindfulness is a safe haven during challenging times, but its true strength is realized through consistent practice. This meditation serves as a chance to reset, seek stability, and anchor yourself in the now.

A Meditation for Coming Home to Yourself with Georgina Miranda

  1. Choose a quiet environment where interruptions are minimal. Sit comfortably, whether on the floor or in a chair, keeping your spine straight. Place your hands on your lap, palms facing up. You can close your eyes or soften your gaze. Allow yourself to settle into your position.
  2. Begin to connect with your breathing. If your thoughts start to wander, counting your breaths can help bring you back to focus and slow down.
  3. Become aware of your breath’s rhythm. With each inhalation, root yourself deeper into your seat. With every exhalation, release any tension, worries, doubts, or fears that may come to mind.
  4. As you take your next breath in, appreciate the sensation of the breath flowing through your body. Embrace a feeling of renewal and ease.
  5. With your next exhale, let go of any lingering tension, inviting a sense of lightness to envelop you.
  6. With each inhalation, gently affirm to yourself, “I am safe, I am home.”
  7. During each exhalation, softly affirm, “I am well, and at ease.”
  8. Keep repeating these affirmations while continuing to breathe until you sense a transformation within you. Allow yourself to feel an increased sense of safety, joy, ease, and tranquility as you return home to yourself with each breath.
