A husband must always think carefully before he speaks, as his words can significantly impact his wife’s self-esteem.

HERE ARE 8 COMMENTS YOU SHOULD NEVER MAKE TO YOUR WIFE, NO MATTER HOW ANGRY YOU ARE.

1. Never Refer to Your Wife as Fat or Ugly
Making negative comments about your wife’s appearance is one of the most hurtful actions a man can take. Women experience many physical changes throughout their lives, particularly with childbirth. Criticizing her body is cruel and unkind.

2. Never Compare Her to Your Ex or Your Mother.
She is her own person and deserves to be recognized as such. Comparing her cooking skills to your mother’s or her clothing style to an ex’s is disrespectful. Listen up, husbands: avoid doing this.

3. Don’t Say This Marriage Was a Mistake.
Are you serious? A marriage with children is a serious commitment. The real mistake lies in abandoning your principles and constantly threatening her with divorce or expressing regret about marrying her. This behavior is very unkind.

4. Never Disrespect Her Family.
Avoid making comments like “you’re just like your mother.” Insulting her mom or siblings during disagreements is childish and will only escalate the situation. This behavior should be avoided.

5. Don’t Refuse Counseling.
This statement indicates that you might be the primary issue in the marriage. It shows a rejection of seeking help and advice. Such remarks can deeply hurt any woman who longs to improve her marriage.

6. “I’m Only Here for the Kids.”
If that’s your viewpoint, it sounds like you’re treating your wife as if she were merely a caregiver. This statement is damaging; it indicates that you don’t value your marriage.

7. “It’s Cheaper to Keep You.”
Seriously? You’re talking to your wife, not making a decision about an old car. Such remarks clearly suggest you don’t appreciate her and aren’t worthy of her.

8. “You Are Bad Luck.”
If you’ve ever uttered this to your wife, it shows a complete lack of responsibility on your part. Her successes are inherently tied to your successes.
