1. Choose clothing that is comfortable, attractive, and easy to take off. Make it simple for your partner to undress you and reveal your body. Consider wearing enticing lingerie or loose-fitting boxers. For the best experience, try sleeping without clothes.

2. Brush your teeth to make kissing more inviting.
3. Leave your work outside the bedroom.

4. Limit the use of phones or laptops. Your partner deserves your full attention, and the bedroom is a special place for intimacy.

5. If finances permit and you have multiple bedrooms, move the baby to a separate room when they reach an appropriate age. Even though the child may have been conceived in the bedroom, this space should remain a special retreat for you and your partner.

6. As a gentleman, make it a point to kiss that one special spot besides her lips each night—be it her forehead, fingers, shoulders, back, or butt. For the ladies, show affection with soft touches and let your fingers convey your feelings.

7. Regularly compliment each other’s bodies to promote comfort and ease. Have open discussions about your intimate life.

8. Take a moment to pray together before bedtime and upon waking.

9. If any disagreements occurred during the day, apologize and forgive. Go to bed without any lingering anger or resentment.

10. Pay attention to each other’s body language. If either of you is in the mood for intimacy, embrace the moment, whether it’s bedtime or morning.

11. Engage in pillow talk—share your thoughts and feelings. Openly express what’s on your mind, whether you’re troubled or thankful.

12. As sleepiness sets in, snuggle close and drift off together, allowing your bodies to entwine.

13. Remind each other how important you are to one another. Your partner will always appreciate your affirmations.

14. If one of you accidentally farts, share a laugh about it (some situations are unavoidable).

15. If you wake up and find your partner outside the covers, be sure to tuck them back in.

16. When you return from a bathroom break in the middle of the night, give your partner a kiss.

17. Hold your partner close and offer a prayer together.
